"AquaViva" is a fantastic personal project shot by French photographer Pierre Carreau, who uses a variety of high-speed cameras and special lenses to explore the undulating shapes of ocean waves.
These images mix strength and fragility, like glass or metal sculptures. They are like temporary treasures created by nature, and each moment is an irrecoverable existence. Every wave is different, and single waves offer a variety of beautiful shapes and light reflections. However, in order to obtain these rare and beautiful images, the photography process needs to be very extensive. Pierre Carreau had to take hundreds of shots to capture the right moment. In his words: "In order to create my images, digital photography and the best cameras and lenses are absolutely necessary. Technology makes it possible for me."
Let’s continue looking at these amazing art from nature!
Every moment is so unpredictable
The moment frozen by the camera is like a sculpture
It becomes even more incredible when combined with the light
Look at these delicate solidifications, do they look like glass products?
Layer upon layer of beautiful waves
It’s like hot metal being poured down and solidifying!
At first glance, is it difficult to tell whether it is a sculpture or a real wave? Unlike mountain scenery, each wave can never be repeated in this world once it disappears, so it is special. Precious, thanks to Pierre Carreau for capturing these moments for us to feast our eyes on. If you also like it, please share these beautiful and amazing photography with your friends!
