Jingle Bell Christmas is coming~
When I go shopping in a home decoration store, I often accidentally buy a whole package of dried scented flowers, but after using it, I feel that the smell is too strong, or there are too many scattered pieces, etc. You might as well try the DIY tutorial below, and then package it to look like the high-end fragrance blocks sold outside. In addition to personal use, you can also give it as a gift!
Materials:
Beeswax (depending on the size of the mold)
Dried flowers or scented flowers
Oily three primary colors (not necessary)
Essential oil (not necessary) – sandalwood: rose = 1 : 2
This time I have chosen a very warm and calming woody fragrance, which can also be used to make candles!
Tools:
Silicone mold
Unnecessary iron cup (because it cannot be washed off after it is finished, so it can only be used for melting beeswax in the future)
Stirring stick
Induction cooker
Thin straw
Step 1: Heat the beeswax over water.
※ Please be careful not to let water get in, otherwise it will spray everywhere.
Step 2: After melting to a liquid state, if you want to adjust the color, add colorants and essential oils and stir evenly.
Step 3: Pour the beeswax into the mold, but do not place the flowers immediately (they will sink to the bottom...). When the surface is a little misty, you can spread the flowers on it, and then insert the straw (tied with wire) Hole).
※ Before pouring into the mold, you can think about how you want to arrange the dried flowers.
Step 4: You can take it out in about 15 minutes! Then just tie it with a ribbon and it will be very cute~
Note:
Essential oil does not have to be added because beeswax does not easily diffuse the smell. Dried flowers with fragrance will be very fragrant! The container for melting beeswax is not easy to clean, so I sincerely recommend using an unnecessary pot to make it. Remember to be careful of scalding your hands! Steam can also be very scalding!
