This bag The bag is very creative. I accidentally saw it on WeChat and was attracted by it at first sight. Later I heard that it was a photo from the home of an American quilt artist. I really like the shape of this leaf, so I made this one myself~

Steps to make handmade DIY leaf-shaped bag Illustration:
Size: 12 *20cm usage: can be used as coin purse, clutch bag. It can also be used to store needles, threads, awls and other small items. If you like it, it would be nice to make a few more pieces as wall decorations and coasters! Difficulty: Beginner
Trace the pattern on the base fabric according to the drawing.
Place the paper shape On the back of the fabric, trace. It should be noted here that because each piece of paper pattern is an asymmetrical figure, the paper pattern must be turned over, that is, the front side should be traced face down. This leaf packet is composed of two symmetrical leaves on side A and side B. In the picture above, I directly used the paper pattern on side A to make the leaves on side B, so the right side is facing up. Also, there are many and small pieces of paper here, so it’s easy to mess them up, so it’s best to mark the order.
Additional 0.3~ 0.5cm seam allowance for cutting and patching.
HandsTo make a DIY leaf-shaped bag, the first patch is facing the front of the base fabric, fix the two ends of the straight line, and sew with a flat stitch.
The first Turn the piece of patch fabric upward, smooth the seam, and fix it with a beading needle. Sew the second piece of patch using the same method as above.
Place the second Turn the piece of patch fabric downward, fold in the seam allowance below, and align the seam with the line drawn on the base fabric. Follow the same method and sew the lower patch in sequence with flat stitches.
45 degree slope Cut 1.8cm wide strips of fabric and use a 0.9cm tape maker to iron the leaf veins.
Use a bead needle or lipstick glue to fix the leaf veins to the finished On half a leaf, then sew. ps: Lipstick glue is quite easy to use~
The other half of the leaves Its the same method. What needs to be paid attention to here is that the two halves of the leaves should be aligned up and down, and then the veins should be sewed together. Be sure to align~
The table layout is completed Finally, add cotton and lining, basting and crimping.
After the crimping is completed, draw a circle according to the paper shape of the leaf. Note that the sharp corners of the paper shape should be aligned with the center of the leaf veins.
Follow the drawing Sew a circle with a flat stitch about 0.2cm inside the good stitch, and then trim along the drawn stitch, being careful not to cut the sewing line.
Symmetrical two After all the leaves are done in this way, start making the cloth strips of the D-shaped ring. The D-shaped buckle is 1.2cm wide, and the cut cloth strip is 3*3.5cm.
First fix the D-ring to the side of the leaf and then wrap it. Cut a 2.2cm wide hemming strip at a 45 degree bias for hemming.
