The bucket bag, as the name suggests, is a handbag that looks like a bucket. The worlds first bucket bag, the Noe, was launched in 1932. Since then, this sleek and playful bag has become a classic. Sharing a tutorial on how to make a mini leather bucket bag. It doesn’t seem to be difficult. If you like it, you can give it a try!~
First draw a rough sketch on paper and design a good-looking bucket bag in your mind.
Cut the leather, I used a round cutter.
If you don’t have a circular cutter, you can draw a circular pattern on the leather and cut it.
Cut another long strip from the leather according to the diameter of the previous round piece, and sew it end to end.
Start making the bottom of the bucket bag.
Apply glue to the edge of the leather ring
Paste it to the bottom round piece as shown and clamp it with a clip.
Sew the bottom.
Cut the leather according to the template.
To make holes in the designed parts of the template, you need to make two holes.
Cut an additional strip that will attach to the inside of the body.
Then along the joining line, make holes on the side.
Cross stitching, embroidered like cross stitch.
Repeat the same way on the other side.
The X-stitch method takes a long time but works great.
