DIY tutorial for a lip-gold clutch bag with outstanding color matching effect. It is simple, elegant and practical. It is a good idea to make one to hold a tablet.
Tools and materials: gold, non-woven fabric, magnetic buckles, rope, pliers, etc.
Cut out two pieces of multi-color triangular fabric (31 +2)cm*(40 +2)cm, with a seam allowance of 2cm. A piece of lining cloth and a piece of interlining cloth are both twice the size of the surface cloth.
Iron the lining on the yellow lining. In order to make the gold bag more beautiful, the hard lining is cut 1cm smaller than the lining. The three sides of the two pieces of surface fabric are sewn, and the lining and hard lining are also sewn. The lining needs to leave a return opening for the final stuffing of the foam board.
When sewing the lining and lining, the bottom of the bag should be slightly overstitched by about 1.5cm.
The location of the painting. Note that after the finished bag is folded in half, the lip gold does not exceed the bottom of the bag. After fixing the position of the mouthpiece, make a hole in the lining to install the circular magnetic buckle.
After drawing the lining fabric, insert the table fabric.
The lining and outer fabric bag mouth should be sewn in a circle, and the dotted line of the mouth should also be sewn.
The bag mouth is neatly trimmed.
Turn the bag over from the lining to the front.
Cut a small piece of cotton rope at the mouth gold position.
Tuck the cotton rope into the entrance gold position.
From one end of the cotton rope, slowly put the gold into it.
Pad the vise with cotton cloth, clamp gently, and install the mouthpiece.
Install the round magnetic buckle.
Cut out a piece of foam board according to the size of the lower part of the bag. It should be slightly smaller than the bag and not bulging.
Tear off the double-sided tape on the foam board.
Insert it from the lining back opening, stick it to the lining fabric, and finally sew the lining back opening.
