Illustrated basic embroidery tutorials, tutorials on Chinese needlepoint embroidery methods.
This embroidery method often appears in Chinese embroidery. Use contrasting lines to highlight the beauty of its design.
Figure 1: Use another thread and needle to pass upward from A, and pass through the BC embroidery section of the backstitch method, as shown in the picture. Be careful not to embroider into the fabric under the embroidery section.
Picture 2: Next, as shown in the picture, insert the needle from the AB embroidery section.
Picture 3: You can see that a circle will be formed at the B embroidery point. Our goal is to make every embroidery point have such a circle.
Figure 4: Now, pass the needle through the BC embroidery section. Repeat this action to embroider similar circles at each embroidery point.
Figure 5: The completed rendering will look like below.
Note:
Make sure that every time the needle passes through the backstitch embroidery section, it does not pull the fabric underneath. It is recommended to use a blunt needle for embroidery.
Be careful not to embroider the section of the previous backstitch too tightly, enough to allow another thread to pass through easily.
