Illustrated tutorial on chrysanthemum leaf embroidery stitches

Chrysanthemum leaf embroidery is also called independent loop embroidery. This embroidery method is usually used for petal designs or pattern-style works. It is not a continuous pattern, but a single ring pattern. Chrysanthemum leaf embroidery is the easiest and easiest embroidery method to learn. It is not only used to embroider a petal or leaf, but can also be used to form part of a complex embroidery.

To facilitate teaching, I chose the plant theme. I start by drawing a small circle on the fabric as a reference point for the embroidery, and I will start embroidering from the edge of the small circle. Note that I chose multi-color colorful threads instead of mixed threads of various colors to complete the embroidery.

1. Thread the thread through point A, insert the needle from the side of point A, and take the needle out from point B. Don't bring the thread out completely. Make a loop around the tip of the needle, just like when we were finishing chain stitch.

2. Bring out the thread and tighten it to fix the ring. Insert a pin close to the outside of the ring to secure the ring.

3. This completed hoop embroidery can be used as the basis for any pattern. Since I am using it to embroider a flower this time, I will continue to complete the colorful flower around the circle I drew before.

If you add another layer on top of this chrysanthemum leaf embroidery, it will look more interesting. Try it!
