These cute handmade angel decorations are specially made by children as Christmas gifts for their parents and grandparents. The elders will be delighted when they see the personalized photo on top of this ornament—their grandchildren turned into adorable Christmas angels!
Materials and tools: Christmas hymn template, colored cardstock, 6-inch round coasters, star stickers, silver or gold twist sticks, small white ribbons, photos, scissors, pencils, glue sticks, hot glue gun.
Step 1: Draw and cut out the template.
Step 2: Print Christmas hymns on colored cardstock.
Step 3: Place the angel template on top of your printed hymn, trace with pencil, and then cut out with scissors.
Step 4: Place the angel head template on the photo, trace it with a pencil, and then cut it out.
Step 5: Using a glue stick, add glue to the top of the angels body. Glue the angel head to the top of the body.
Step 6:Cut angel wings from a 6-inch round coaster.
Step 7: Add glue to the end of each angel wing and attach them to the back of the angel.
Step 8: Use a silver or gold twist stick to create the angel halo.
Step 9: Use tape to attach the halo to the back of the angels head. Bend the halo downward so that it hangs over the top of the angel.
Step 10: Attach the star stickers to your angel ornament.
Step 11: Cut a piece of white ribbon approximately 9 inches long. Tie a knot at the end to form a lanyard. Cut off excess ribbon.
Step 12: Heat your hot glue gun, apply hot glue on the back of the angel head, and place the lanyard over the glue~
