I am an avid bottle collector and always have the same brand of bottled water bottles so I can create symmetrical crafts. Here I am going to use bottle caps to make Christmas ball hangings, you will find that they are beautiful and cute. This is a fun craft tutorial that kids can decorate after you glue the hats together!~
Materials and tools: plastic bottle caps, spray paint, string, hot glue gun, white glue, glitter, tweezers, sequins, hole punch, ribbon, beads.
Take the bottle caps outside and paint them. I chose a shiny metallic silver and let it dry completely.
Cut a piece of rope about 7-8 inches long and knot both ends to create a loop.

Simply place the knotted end of the loop in the middle of a small bottle cap and secure it with hot glue.
Add a thin strip of hot glue to the edge of the bottle cap, then place another small bottle cap and glue it in place.
Apply a thick layer of white glue to the bottle cap.
Immediately sprinkle on glitter, shaking off excess.
Use tweezers to hold the sequins, lightly dip the back in glue, then gently place it on the bottle cap and let it dry.
Similarly, glue two larger bottle caps together to look like a hamburger.
Glue a small bottle cap on top.
Take a small bottle cap and pierce the center with a hole punch or sharp awl.
Put the rope loop you made earlier through the middle hole and add a bead of hot glue to the inside of the hole to seal it.
In "Hamburger"Glue on the other side.
Adhere a ribbon around the large bottle cap.
String beads on top.
The beautiful Christmas ball is finished, you can hang it anywhere you like~
