These Decoupage Christmas Crafts are a fun way to put all your scrap paper to good use! You can draw your own star and Christmas tree templates and it’s so easy!< /p>
To make these paper cutout Christmas crafts, you can draw circles yourself or use a 2-inch circle hole punch. The rest of the supplies include colored cardboard, white cardboard, pencils, scissors and glue.
Supplies required:
Customized template
Colored cardboard
White cardboard
Pencil or pen – for tracing templates
Scissors
Craft glue or glue stick
1. Choose paper of multiple colors, trace a circle, and cut it out.
2. Cut 2 rectangles from cardboard. Preferably one of them is white cardboard.
3. Take out the white cardboard and use a template to draw stars on it.
4. Carefully insert the scissors into the center of the star and cut out the depicted star.
5. Place the star-cut cardboard on top of another rectangular piece of paper, making sure the two pieces of paper are aligned. Trace the white cardstock star shape onto the paper below it.
6. Take out the colored round paper pieces and paste them on the stars of the complete cardboard.
7. Continue adding circular pieces of paper row by row until the entire star shape is filled.
8. After the star shape is filled, take out the white cardboard with the star shape cut out and apply glue on the back.
9. Paste the adhesive side of the cardboard onto another piece of cardboard and align it. Let the glue dry and you're done!
