Quick, fun and easy Christmas craft tutorial! Use recycled old books and wine corks to make a mini Christmas tree. Are you guys a little wary of this waste recycling DIY that doesn’t require any skills? Prepare the required materials and give it a try by following the illustrated steps below!~
Materials and tools: wine cork, awl, toothpick, scissors, waste paper.
1. Use scissors to cut the paper into rectangles of different sizes.
For a tiny Christmas tree like this, cut out a large number - lets say 20 - squares of paper, ranging from 7cm x 7cm to 2cm x 2cm.
Get ready:
20 pieces 7cm x 7cm
20 pieces 6cm x 6cm
20 pieces 5cm x 5cm
20 pieces 4cm x 4cm
20 pieces 3cm x 3cm
20 pieces 2cm x 2cm
2. Take your awl and pierce the paper in the middle.
3. Then starting with the smaller ones, thread them through the decorated toothpicks and rotate them so that they are not aligned. Do this for all different sizes of paper. When done, insert the toothpick into the cork.
4. This mini Christmas tree is finished~
