Don’t be intimidated by the beauty of these gorgeous Christmas decorations I’m sharing with you today, because they’re so easy to make, for adults and kids alike. They will add joy and festive atmosphere to your Christmas tree.
We made these Christmas ball decorations in classic Christmas colors such as red, green, silver and gold, choosing cardboard as the main material, which is a great choice for the environment!~
Materials and tools: cardboard, paper cups, acrylic paint, plastic spoon, metal tray, hole punch, twine, scissors, tracing pencil.
Step 1: First draw the Christmas ball template.
Step 2: After cutting out the template, trace it with a pencil on a piece of cardboard. Cut it out.
Step 3: Choose the color of acrylic paint you want to use for your Christmas ball.
Step 4: Arrange the paper cups and mix the acrylic paints together.
Step 5: Place the paper cup upside down in the metal tray. The tray helps collect excess paint that runs off the upholstery and makes for easy cleanup. Place your cardboard onto the pallet for dyeing and allow to dry completely for about 24 hours.
Step 6: Once the ornament is completely dry, use a hole punch to punch holes in the top.
Step 7: Cut a piece of twine about 15-18 inches long, pass it through the hole and tie it.
Step 8: The beautiful Christmas creations are completed, just use the extra twine to hang them on the Christmas tree~
