Materials and tools: cardboard, crepe paper, red balloons, movable eyes, glue sticks, paper cutter, scissors, stapler.
Step 1: Cut six pieces of brown crepe paper approximately 24 inches long. Use a glue stick to add glue to the bottom of the light brown cardstock, then adhere all six pieces of crepe paper to the bottom of the cardstock. Turn the light brown cardstock over so the crepe paper is facing down.
Step 2: Fold the orange cardboard in half and cut out a triangle shape, which will become the turkeys mouth.
Step 3: Cut off the top of the red balloon. This step is optional, but I feel like it helps the balloon and beak stick together better.
Step 4: Glue the red balloon in the center of the light brown cardboard, and then glue the beak in front of the balloon.
Step 5: Glue two extra-large movable eyes on the turkeys head.
Step 6: Bend the light brown cardboard into a circle, connect the two ends together, and staple it with a stapler.
Step 7: Use a paper cutter to cut the 1-inch by 11-inch piece of brown cardboard to length. Then cut 1-inch by 9-inch pieces of red, orange, and yellow card stock to length.
Step 8: Fold the red, orange and yellow cardboard strips in half and staple them with a stapler.
Step 9: Place the strip of brown cardboard on top of the windsock and secure it with staples.
Step 10: This cute Thanksgiving turkey windsock is ready, hang it up and see the effect~
