Materials and tools: dark blue and white cardboard, white paint, bottle caps, toothbrush (optional), washi tape, markers, small paper plates, glue sticks.
1. First cut the dark blue cardboard in half. This is the size we used, but you can also choose to use a full sheet of paper. Alternatively, you can fold the card stock in half and make a cute card.
2.Tear off the white snow from the white cardboard and stick it to the bottom of the blue cardboard.
3. Pour some white paint on a small paper plate. Dip the bottle cap in paint and press it onto the white snow to create a snowman.
4. We also took out an old toothbrush, dipped it in white paint, and then stroked it on the blue cardboard to make it look like snow.
5. Once the paint is dry, get out the markers and washi tape to decorate the snowman and give it personality. Use markers to draw the carrots nose, eyes, mouth and buttons. Then cut out triangular and rectangular pieces of washi tape and attach them to the hat and scarf respectively. Also cut a triangle from the washi tape and attach it to the end of the scarf. Then draw a white ball at the end of the hat.
