Want a Halloween-themed costume? Its so easy! Buy an orange t-shirt, its cheap, then print a jack-o'-lanterns face on the front and its done in minutes! Friends, are you also a little excited? If you like this kind of holiday T-shirt, then follow the diagram below to see how to complete it!~
Materials and tools: orange t-shirt, black fabric paint, sponge stencil brush, freezer paper, scissors, pen, iron and ironing board.
1. Wash the T-shirt first. Iron if desired.
Draw your favorite jack-o'-lantern face.
2. Trim the freezer paper so there is about 2 inches of excess paper around this face pattern design.
3. Cut out the eyes, nose and mouth of the jack-o-lantern pattern.
4. Place the template on the front of the T-shirt. Make sure the wax side of the freezer paper is facing down and against the fabric.
Do not move the iron back and forth as this may cause the edges of the template to curl. A straight up and down approach works best. Do not overheat or the wax will melt and the freezer paper will not stick to the fabric.
5. Dip the sponge stencil brush into the paint and press the paint onto the surface by vertically up and down without sliding the sponge brush back and forth.
6. Don’t use too much paint at one time. It’s best to apply it in several batches. When the first coat of paint dries, apply the second coat.
7. After the paint is completely dry, slowly peel off the freezer paper mold. Do not remove the stencil until the paint is dry or you may smear the design. After 72 hours, our jack-o-lantern T-shirt is ready and can be machine washed~
