Sharing a tutorial for making clothespin button bats that you can put on a shelf as a cute Halloween decoration or in Add a magnet to the back of them and use them to support other crafts on the refrigerator, or string them together into a Halloween bat banner!~

Materials and tools: clothespins, black buttons, black cardboard, glue, scissors.

Start by applying glue to the front of the clothespin, then add the buttons on top of the glue. Try not to let the buttons hang from the ends of the clothespins or they won't stand up properly.

Cut bat wings from black cardstock. To make the wings, I folded black cardboard in half and traced half of the wings along the folded edge. Then when I cut it and unfolded it, I had two complete wings.

Add a line of glue to the center of the bats wing and attach it to the back of the clothespin. Once the glue is dry, you can play with bats~
