This Sponge Painted Ghost is a super easy and fun craft for little ones to make that will add a festive touch to your home or classroom Halloween decorations.

Supplies you will need:
Ghost template
Black cardboard
White pigment
White pencil (for tracing)
Little sponge
Paper plate (for pouring paint)
Scissors
Glue stick
1. Find a satisfactory ghost template picture online and cut it out. Then use a white pencil to trace it on the black cardboard. Turn your black cardstock over.
2. Cut a small rectangular shape from a regular sized kitchen sponge for painting. Pour the white paint onto the paper plate.
3. Dab the sponge a few times to coat it all, then dab it onto the black cardboard. Allows the blacks to show through, giving it a more translucent ghost appearance.
Continue dabbing with white paint until the black cardboard is covered. set asideLet it dry completely.
4. When the white paint is dry, use black cardboard to cut out two eyes and a mouth. Its easier to draw the shape with a white pencil and then cut it out.
5. After the white paint is dry, cut out the ghost.
6. Use a glue stick to glue the eyes and mouth onto the ghost. Your relaxing ghost has been created~
