Cute, weird, and quick to make! In order to welcome the upcoming Halloween, I would like to share with the children a simple spider crafting tutorial. Just cut and paste the foam balls, and then install the long black legs. Come and try it. Come on!~
Required materials:
12-inch long twisting rod, 1.4-inch diameter foam ball, movable eyes.
Tools required:
Paper knife, scissors, hot glue gun, ruler, matte black quick-drying spray paint.
Using the lines on the foam ball as a guide, divide it into two equal halves.
Get out the spray paint and paint the foam balls without primer. Spray downward as far as possible (about 45 degrees),to reduce foam fragments from being blown away.
Cut a small plane in both hemispheres.
Adhere the two hemispheres together on a flat surface.
Cut a cardboard circle slightly smaller than a hemisphere.
Align one end of the four twist rods.
Find the middle of the twist stick (not strict, just close enough).
I marked the middle with blue tape, but you can use your finger to mark.
Glue the legs to the bottom of one of the hemispheres.
Use the cardboard disc to press the hot glue and legs together.
Use a hot glue gun to attach two movable eyes.
Bend all legs (3 inches).
Bend the leg next to the body.
All legs are taken care of and spread out some.
The scary spider is ready, thank you! Happy Halloween!
