Although the Mid-Autumn Festival has long passed, the mooncakes at home may not have been finished yet! Let’s share with the children a simple and beautiful eco-friendly handicraft. Make the mooncake box into a cute little lantern. Learn how to make it. ~
Material preparation: two plastic mooncake inner boxes, Chinese knots, red paper, and star stickers.
Poke a small hole in the middle of the mooncake inner box.
Put the Chinese knotted rope through the small hole. The Chinese knot should be on the outside of the mooncake inner box.
To secure the Chinese knot, tie a knot on the red string on the inside of the mooncake box.
Wear the other inner mooncake box relative to each other, and use patterned tape to tape the seams of the two inner mooncake boxes.
Tie a knot in the red rope that is threaded through.
Cut the red paper into tassels and roll them up to make the tassels of the lantern.
Attach the finished tassel to the hanging red rope.
Add the five-pointed star sticker to the inner box of the mooncake.
The beautiful mooncake box lantern is ready. If you want it to be bright, you can put a small LED light inside and stick it with tape.
