A fun way to celebrate the Chinese New Year with your children is to do fun crafts! Sharing how to make beautiful Chinese dragon paste paintings is very interesting and will be loved by children of different ages. Simply prepare the materials and join the children. Give it a try~
Materials and tools: black cardboard, cake paper, movable eyes, gold and white cardboard, red string, orange and yellow tissue paper, red marker, scissors, glue.
First cut eight mini cupcake papers in half. Glue one of the cake wrappers to the black cardstock, towards the top, with the rounded curve pointing to the left side of the page, which is where the dragon body begins. Continue pasting to form the dragon body.
Then make the faucet. You will need two cupcake wrappers, cut one in half (discard the other half) and fold the other cupcake wrapper in half. Cut off the sides of these two pieces (see photo below). Glue the two pieces together to make the faucet, making sure the folded part is at the bottom of the face.
Adhere the dragon head to the front of the dragon body. Cut out the dragon horns from your gold cardstock and glue them to your dragon head. Then cut out white teeth and glue them to the inside of the dragons mouth.
Cut some long orange and yellow strips from tissue paper, then glue them to the inside of the dragons mouth and crease the ends to look like fire coming out of the dragons mouth.
Finally, use a red marker to mark yourDraw the nostrils on the dragon and paste two long red ropes as the dragon whiskers. The majestic Chinese dragon paste painting is completed~
