This is an interesting way to make birthday cards. Apply embroidery techniques that are usually only seen on cloth to cardboard to make a refreshing handmade greeting card!
The production process is not complicated. Even if you have never played with embroidery needles, you can still complete it with a little bump. You can embroider simple or complex patterns onto your cards while easily adding a personalized message!~

Divide the card into two parts, with the label at the bottom and the cute pattern at the top.

You can embroider cakes, ice cream, flowers, etc. on it.

Carefully selecting brightly colored embroidery threads is one of the keys to the beauty of this card.

You need to prepare:
Needle and Thread
Foam pad
Ruler
Pencil
Empty white card

1. Use a pencil to draw your design on the front of the card. Then use a needle to poke holes along your design, spacing them about 1/4 inch apart.
You may need to poke the holes closer together on the curved part. Use foam padding under the card so you don't accidentally poke the back!
2. Use embroidery thread to embroider your design. Sewed with 4 strands of thread, I chose not to make any knots on the back of the card so it would be smoother. To do this, I put the needle through the back of the design, but don't pull the thread all the way through, leaving a loop on the back. I pulled the needle through the next hole and pushed the needle through the loop. This creates a flat "knot".

3. Be careful with the hand sewing process so that the back of the card looks neat and not messy, as it will be visible unless you choose to cover it with a piece of paper.

4. Complete the embroidery of the pattern part.

5. Add tags below your design. I put a few stitches on each side of it.
6. You can follow the same steps to make matching gift tags!

7. I made eight cards of different designs and bundled them with matching envelopes to make a wonderful birthday gift~
