Use non-woven fabric to make interesting and cute little rabbits, which are good as home decorations or as toys for children. If you choose to stay home on New Year’s Day, why not try making this cute roly-poly rabbit with your children to make the last day of the New Year’s holiday more meaningful~
Preparation materials: non-woven fabric, rag strips, rice, black beads, needle and thread, sewing machine, scissors, felt cloth, and stuffing cotton.
1. Cut a circular piece of fabric with a diameter of 8 inches for the body, and cut out 4 pieces of fabric with a length of about 4 inches to make the bunny ears, with the widest part about 2 inches. Also cut out 2 pieces of felt fabric for the ears and 1 piece of positioning felt for the face. The ear positioning fabric is 0.5 inches long, and the face positioning fabric is a small oval, 2 inches long and 0.5 inches wide.
2. Flat-sew the round piece of fabric along the edge and tighten the seam to close.
3. Add about 3 tablespoons of rice.
4. Stuff the stuffing cotton in as much as possible, and tighten the sutures to test whether they can be closed. Then insert the facial positioning cloth from the opening into the appropriate facial position to make the face smoother.
5. Place the front pieces of the rabbit ears facing each other, then place the positioning cloth on top, align it with the bottom of the piece, and sew both sides of the ears according to 1/4 seam allowance, leaving the bottom opening unsewed.
6. Turn the ear over to the front, place the felt inside the ear, place the ear into the body opening, and sew the opening. At the same time, pay attention to sewing the ear in place to ensure that the ear is consistent with the face.
7. Sew two small beads on the face to serve as eyes.
8. Use embroidery thread to embroider the small mouth.
9. Use a rag to make a bow on the ear, and the cute bunny is finished.
