The Han people in our country have always had the tradition of hand-making rabbit lanterns. People regard rabbits as auspicious things, so wherever the rabbit lanterns go, it means bringing good luck and good luck. Next Thursday is the Lantern Festival. Craftsmanship has specially prepared the following tutorial for making this simple and exquisite rabbit lantern, with very detailed illustrations. I believe anyone can successfully make this rabbit lantern as long as they have patience. Parents, hurry up and prepare materials to give your children a big surprise~
Prepare a roll of wire, which should be extra thick, otherwise the rabbit lantern will be easily deformed. The length should be about 5 meters.
Gather a vise or needle nose pliers.
This rabbit lamp consists of five groups of iron rings, and the two iron rings in each group are of the same shape and size.
Two of the largest oval iron rings are cross-fixed to create the body of the rabbit.
An iron ring one size smaller than the body is used to make the rabbit head.
Then install the rabbit’s two pairs of iconic long ears.
Short, round tail.
Remove the wheels from the childs old toy car, make a draggable rabbit lantern base, and install the candle on it.
The next step is the paper-gluing step, which tests your patience the most. Use rice paper to glue it carefully, don’t be in a hurry!
Use red paper to cut out the rabbit’s red eyes and ears for decoration.
Don’t waste the remaining rice paper. Cut it into a tassel shape and glue it to the rabbit lantern from bottom to top. A beautiful rabbit lantern is ready~~~
