Chair cushion making tutorial
- Cut the prepared fabric to 66cm x 33cm.
- Sew along the red line, and keep a straight line when sewing.
- Sew the two corners of the cushion again to prevent the seams from coming off.
- This is how the seat cushion is turned over.
- Open the top opening and fold the fabric inward, about 1cm wide.
- This is a 30 square centimetercushion.
- As you proceed below, sew up the rubber band.
- Use a lighter to gently burn off the burrs on the rubber band incisions (both ends). Please be aware of injuries and fire hazards.
- Sew one end of the rubber band.
- Repeat on the other side.
- Turn over the rubber band and seam as shown in the picture.
- Turn it over and the cushion is basically complete.
- Sew buttons on the open end to thicken the cushions in winter.
- The chair cushion is finished.
