The following is an introduction to the handmade hanging plant pot sling, which is made of leather. Always think that there is no place to put potted plants in your home space? Then make good use of the upper space~For specific DIY steps, please refer to the detailed illustrated tutorial below .
Materials required:
Leather, grommets, brass rings, rope, flower pots.
First you need to cut the leather. Circles, triangles, squares, etc. all work well.
Take a metal grommet to determine the installation position first, and press it hard to leave a mark on the leather to facilitate subsequent installation.
If you have a hole punch, you can directly use it to punch holes in the leather. If you don’t have one, you can just cut it with scissors. You don’t need to cut it very neatly.
To install metal grommets, you can use professional tools or a hammer.
Tie the rope to the brass ring. The rope should be twice as long as you want it to be. Using a double layer of rope will make the sling stronger. Place the middle part of the rope on the copper ring, pass it through and tie a knot on it. The number of ropes corresponds to the number of grommets.
You can tie the remaining rope under the leather into knots. For single-layer ropes, it is best to use leather with an even number of grommets, so that the weight can be better evenly distributed and reduce the pressure on the rope.
Finally, put your little plant on it and hang it in the room. White, green and brown, a very Japanese combination~
