Materials for making heart-shaped pillow:
Red and pink rags (for patchwork);
Red velvet (fabric on the back of the pillow);
Red cotton cloth (the base fabric of patchwork);
Filling cotton;
Embroidery pattern;
Needle, thread, scissors, iron, tailors pen.
How to make a heart-shaped pillow:
1) Prepare all the materials needed for pillow making;
2) Use a tailoring pen to draw a heart-shaped outline on the base fabric and cut it out;
3) Use red rags to piece together a patchwork slightly larger than the outline on the heart-shaped base fabric;
4) Place the embroidery pattern on the patchwork;
5) Use white embroidery thread to embroider the pattern;
6) Place the patchwork on the fabric on the back of the pillow, with the front facing each other, fix it with a beading needle and sew along the heart-shaped edge, leaving a return opening;
7) Use scissors to cut off the excess fabric around the heart-shaped pillow and cut out the tooth opening;
8) Turn the pillow out from the back;
9) Stuff the stuffing cotton and sew back to complete the heart-shaped pillow.
