Handmade bell sleeve pullover. The sleeves and hem of the bell-sleeved pullover are particularly wide, and it is made of thin woolen fabric with a light texture. It looks comfortable and classy. It can be worn alone in spring and summer, and can be layered in autumn and winter. It is a common clothing for girls in all seasons.
Pullover fabric size:Width 135cm, length S, M and L need to be 200cm, 210cm and 220cm respectively.
How to cut the pullover: Fold the fabric in half, as shown in the picture, cut 1 piece each for the front, back, and edge strips of the pullover, and 2 pieces for the sleeves.
Steps to make a pullover:
1) Seam line and hem line. With the front and back pieces facing each other, first sew a straight line on both sides (seam allowance 1.5 cm), and then use a zigzag stitch to lock the edges. For the hem, first use a zigzag stitch to sew a circle, then fold it in and sew a straight line (seam allowance 3 cm).
2) Make sleeves. Fold the sleeve fabric piece in half and sew the sides using the same method as the front and back pieces in step 1. Then sew the cuffs in the same way as step 1 for hem sewing.
3) Sew the sleeves to the main body of the garment. Stack the sleeves and the main body of the garment together, face to face, and sew the armholes with a seam allowance of 1 cm, which is also a straight seam and a zigzag seam.
4) Neckline trim. The width of the edging strip is 6.5 cm. Fold both sides of the fabric 1.5 cm inward, then fold 1.5 cm inward again, until the final width becomes about 1.5 cm. Then use an iron to make an arc-shaped edging strip. Baste the collar in one circle, pull out the pleats, use a beading needle to fix the trim strip to the edge of the collar, and then sew in one circle to complete the bell-sleeved pullover.
