The following is a tutorial on how to make fabric fruits, pears and tomatoes. The completed fabric works can be used to decorate the home, which is very bourgeois in style~
Materials for fabric fruit pear production:
Dark beige floral cloth 72×40 cm (pear cloth), brown cloth rope 10 cm (pear stem), light green cloth 10×10 cm (pear leaf).
Steps to make fabric fruit pear:
1) Cut 4 pieces of pear fabric, with the 1st and 2nd pieces facing each other, and sew one side along the dotted line, do the same with the 3rd and 4th pieces, now they become two pieces.
2) The two pieces of fabric are facing each other. After fixing them with beading needles, sew along the dotted lines on both sides (leaving a return opening) to form a pear shape.
3) Turn the pear to the front, stuff it with cotton to make it full, and then sew the back of the pear with a counter stitch.
4) Use a long needle starting from the midpoint of the top of the pear, pass it through the pear to the center of the bottom, and then pull it back to the center of the top. Tighten the thread to make the bottom dent, so it looks more like a pear.
5) After completion, leave the thread on the top of the pear for later use.
6) Fold the brown cloth rope in half, tuck both ends into the top of the pear to become the stem of the pear, and sew it in place with thread.
7) Make the leaves. After completion, use a needle thread to sew through the center line of the leaves, as shown in the picture. Slightly tighten the thread to make the leaves appear wrinkled, and fix and sew them on the edge of the pear stem to complete.
Materials for making fabric tomatoes:
Dark red cloth 20×20 cm, plaid cloth 20×20 cm, green flannel 15×5 cm.
Steps to make fabric tomatoes:
1) 4 pieces of tomato cloth, made in the same way as pear, sew into two pieces.
2) Sew the two pieces into a barrel shape.
3) Stuff cotton from the top opening.
4) Condensate the opening to form a tomato shape.
5) Cut the leaf cloth into a zigzag shape as shown, and sew a line 0.3 cm away from the edge.
6) The seams of the leaf cloth are tightened at both ends to form a star-shaped leaf.
7) Sew the star-shaped leaves onto the top of the tomato to complete the process.
