The idea for this craft came from my third grade teacher. I remember the day I made some fun collages in class - shiny sheep made from broken eggshells. Today we are going to make Easter-themed crafts and share with children how to use eggshells to make Easter eggs and bunnies. You can also use this idea during the Mid-Autumn Festival. Are you a little wary about reusing eggshells like this? Just follow the steps in the picture below and give it a try!~
Materials required for broken egg shell craft:
Colorful eggshells
Pencil
Glue
Paper Jam
Tray
1. First dye some hard-boiled eggs into colors. I used 15 eggs here. If you like, you can even leave the eggshells white and use them as rabbits or lambs.
2. Let the eggs dry, then open them and save all the shells. You need to let all the eggshells dry again for a while. Then place the egg shells in a plastic bag and crush them into small pieces.
3. Take some paper and put it on a paper plate or newspaper. Draw an image with a pencil and then apply glue over the image. We made Easter eggs, a bunny and an Easter basket.
4. Sprinkle the eggshells on the glue. Shake off the excess and return the excess eggshells to the bag.
5. Let the image dry and your cute Easter pattern is complete. Once framed, it can also be used as an Easter card!
