Japanese illustrator, born in Tokyo in 1966. Majoring in biology, he studied at Art Center College of Design in California after graduating from Tokyo International Christian University, and then started his art career.
After graduation, Tatsuro began working with several childrens book publishers in the United States and Japan, eventually getting involved Magazine editing work, book cover illustrations, advertising commercial illustrations, etc. Tatsuros first picture book "The Lotus Seed" has sold more than200,000 copies.
