Today I bring you a kindergarten autumn craft, a step-by-step tutorial on making a big tree using handprints. I hope you like it!
Preparation materials: colored paper, art paper, brushes, paint, glue
Production steps: Place the babys hand on the art paper, and then use a pen to draw along the outline of the palm and arm (if the baby is relatively young, a little help from an adult is needed). This outline will become the trunk of the tree.
Let your baby draw in the trunk of the tree and dye it with paint.
Let your baby cut the colored paper into one-inch squares or tear it into small pieces.
Wrap colored paper around the end of the paintbrush, then apply some glue to the tree trunk.
Or even simpler, glue the pieces of colored paper directly to the trunk.
It’s done! Don’t you think both ways are cute?
You can also have other combinations to match tree elements. For example, you might paint a tree trunk and then add some colored paper for leaves. Make this craft activity more open-ended and unleash your childs creativity according to their preferences. My eight year old had the idea to add some leaves to the ground, which I thought was so smart!
