Dutch street artist Leon Keer is a master of three-dimensional art. He can use paint to transform any flat surface into incredible works of art. His latest mural is titled Shattered, an intricate balancing act of a tea cup that appears to be on the verge of tipping over. Keers mural was painted in Helsingborg, Sweden. "Life is as fragile as a teacup," Keer said. "I wanted to show that your life can be turned upside down in a moment. You can lose loved ones, or your home. Thats why I painted various apocalyptic scenarios on teacups." From oil spills to melting glaciers , each teacup is decorated with a scene exploring some of the difficulties facing our planet.
To complete the artwork’s story, Kee collaborated with augmented reality designer Joost Spek. The introduction of this technology was a new challenge for Keer, as it required him to perfectly match his paintings with the 3D animation. As a street artist, Keer not only focuses on the technical aspects of his work, but also integrates his art with local culture.
