Artist Sacha Jafri hopes to change the world by raising funds for children in need through her art. Since March, he has been spending his COVID-19 quarantine at the Atlantis Palm Hotel in Dubai, where he has been working on painting a painting of the worlds largest painting. The massive work, titled "The Journey of Humanity," is part of his "Human Inspiration" project, which will be used to raise $30 million to fund health and education programs for underprivileged children. The painting is the size of two football fields and will be completed soon. Then, in November, it will make its public debut at Atlantis The Palm and be evaluated by the Guinness Book of World Records to prove that it is indeed the largest canvas painted on the world. Jafris painting will then be cut into 60 smaller paintings and sold at a charity auction in December.
Jafri’s project goal is not only to raise funds to help children, but to connect a billion people globally to combat the devastation of COVID-19 on the world’s poorest communities. By working with organizations such as UNICEF, UNESCO and UNHCR, he hopes to make a real impact on the lives of children around the world.
