French street artist Braga Last One transformed an ordinary gas tank into a visual feast using just spray paint. This giant gas tank sits on a highway outside a small town. Now, a wary Sphynx cat sits in its place, keeping an eye on the road. Braga Last One is known for its ability to transform any space, and the fuel tank is no exception. By expertly blending the outer edge of the petrol tank into the landscape, he made it disappear. This Sphynx cat looks like its on the prowl, hunched over with one foot outstretched, and its easy to imagine the feline looking for a mouse or confronting a dog.
So why a Sphynx cat? The artists girlfriend actually has this particular breed as a pet, and when he was thinking about something to paint on his gas tank, he chose it naturally. To get the full optical effect, the viewer needs to position themselves at a specific point. To perfect the piece, Braga Last One spent a lot of time shooting photos from specific angles to ensure the final fantasy would work. His efforts paid off, with spectacular works that dazzled the eyes.
