Use calligraphy ink to render the cat’s soft, fluffy and lazy posture

Use calligraphy ink to render the cat’s soft, fluffy and lazy posture

When I was writing calligraphy as a child, I was most afraid of ink dripping onto rice paper. In the blink of an eye, the ink dots would smudge and there would be no way to save it. However, Serbian artist Endre Penovác has avoided this problem that people are afraid of. The situation turns into a series of pleasing paintings of mysterious black cats, and people can't help but fall in love with these "beautiful mistakes" at a glance!

Although it looks like calligraphy ink, Endre Penovác also used some watercolor paint to enhance the outline of the cat’s facial features and outline the body shape. He used ink and water to create a large amount of rendering effects, perfectly interpreting the cat’s loose and thick body. The hair and the weight of the hands are also just right, showing the cats posture and movements through deep and shallow layers, as if you can feel the soft touch when you reach out and touch it. I think Endre Penovác must know cats very well, so he can present it with such simple elements. Show their lazy demeanor!
