Bodhi tree leaves

I love the bodhi tree, and I don’t know how many people have been shocked and overwhelmed by it.

It’s so magnificent. As long as you get close to it, you will feel that its whole body is full of something moving, which is youth and life.

The poet who is often moved by the things around him said that beauty is the smile of God. I believe. I believe it because of the bodhi tree.

Almost throughout my childhood, I was infected by this tree of life. The breath of life penetrated my skin and flourished and boiled in my blood.

I like its tranquility, grace, refinement and elegance in a windless world, standing alone like a majestic mountain.

I prefer the way it looks in the wind. The leaves of the Bodhi tree are best at catching the breath of the breeze, and they dance swaying and graceful, like a dancing skirt. For a moment, I couldn't believe my eyes. The dense leaves were like tens of thousands of green butterflies flying, making a swishing sound. This sound matched the rhythm of the earth, as if everything was moving with the rhythm of the leaves.

What makes me even more intoxicated is when the strong wind blows. The Bodhi tree seems to have transformed from a heavy mountain into a wildly dancing ocean. The waves beat on the branches, emitting a sonorous and powerful march of life, beating against the blue sky.

A friend who is very appreciative told me that when she saw the Bodhi tree, she was almost stunned. The beautiful green of the Bodhi tree was like a stream flowing out, twisting and turning, releasing the light of life and wrapping her heart.

In shock, she felt that her life was washed, touched, and illuminated by a holy soul. She felt that she had been conquered by this divine power, infected by this passionate dance, and her heart was melted by this vitality. The green seemed to have penetrated her limbs and bones, just like drinking a cup of fragrant tea, and she couldn't extricate herself. She felt like one of the butterflies, traveling through the dancing green ocean.

I have the same feeling as her, but there are more green leaves of the Bodhi tree in my life.

The first time I saw the Bodhi tree was in a friend’s travel photo. I stared at the branches and leaves that reached into the sky, and my heart swayed along with its heart-shaped leaves. Its posture seems casual, but it is like a young woman, vaguely showing elegance and nobility. The green of the Bodhi tree is like a spring from the sky, spilling into my barren heart and cleansing my soul. I watched intently, letting the emerald color burn my eyes.

A long time ago, Sakyamuni attained enlightenment and became a Buddha under a Bodhi tree that was a hundred feet high. Perhaps the bodhi tree did not really tell Sakyamuni the so-called true meaning. It only used its surging vitality to embrace the colors of all things, allowing Sakyamuni to experience the emptiness and beauty of nature. Therefore, Sakyamunis soul was sublimated under this lush Bodhi tree. Thats why later generations looked at the Bodhi tree and sighed with emotion: "The Bodhi tree has no tree, and the mirror is not a stand. There is nothing in the first place, so how can it cause dust."”

The power of life is chanting, the colors of vitality are rendering, and the holy soul is murmuring... This is a march of life that is difficult to understand.

It is this quiet and vigorous march that cleanses the heart and gradually pours the thorough understanding of life into my hungry heart and into my infant life.
