The wooden pile DIY nostalgic style annual ring decoration is much more beautiful than many home furnishings on sale, and the production method is very simple and the materials are easy to prepare. Follow the detailed illustrated tutorial below to DIY such a growth ring decoration and feel the natural atmosphere.
Required materials:
Wooden stakes, cardboard, inkjet printer, scissors, brushes.
Preparation method:
1. Design a pattern to be printed on the wooden stake.
2. Use a brush to apply a layer of Elmers glue smoothly on the cardboard. Make sure the glue completely covers the area to be printed. After applying, let the glue dry.
3. Print the reverse inkjet pattern on the glued side of the cardboard (the pattern should be a mirror image). After printing the pattern, apply a thin layer of smooth Mod Podge glue (a decoupage watering that creates patterns on wood) on the stake, then stamp the pattern face down on the wet glue. Please press firmly and smooth the paper. Let the glue dry for about 8 hours.
4. After the print is completely dry, rinse it with warm water until the card detaches itself from the wood.
The finished wooden stake annual ring decoration looks particularly delicious when placed on an old table.
