Today, the editor of the production department will share with you an illustrated tutorial on how to make a simple 3D holographic projector. Although you can buy similar gadgets for only a few dozen dollars, it’s not as fun as DIY! Right
Material preparation:
1. 1 piece of acrylic calendar board (you can ask at a stationery store, the transparent cover commonly used when making tender documents is used here).
2. Several pieces of corrugated paper.
3. Adhesive materials.
4. Tablet computer.
5. Several holographic projection sources (both pictures and videos are acceptable).
Determine the size of the acrylic board according to the projection equipment. For an 8-inch tablet computer, the A4 specification just meets the needs.
Cut out one of the isosceles triangles, fold it into a pyramid structure, and fix the edges with glue. It is best to engrave the acrylic board with a needle before folding it.
Make a shelf out of a waste paper box, prepare the tablet, and then create the hologram source.
The picture format is generally a square, and the four views of the object to be projected are arranged as shown above.
Put the tablet screen on the shelf at the top of the pyramid like this, adjust the angle, and use the principles of interference and diffraction to project it onto the plastic sheet to form a virtual image.
Animation videos can also be projected holographically.
