Today, the "Airbus" has become a reality. On August 2, the "Airbus" independently designed by my country and with independent intellectual property rights - Pakistan Railway No. 1, was officially put into trial operation in Beidaihe District, Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province.
The official name of Pakistan Railway is Transit Elevated Bus (TEB), also called "wide-body elevated tram". It looks like a large double-decker bus. The bottom is hollowed out to allow other cars to pass through, and the passengers sit on the upper level, flanked by wheels.
The trial on that day tested the braking distance, friction coefficient, power consumption and other parameters of the "Airbus" to test the relationship between the car and the road, and the relationship between people and the car. The vehicle is 22 meters long, 7.8 meters wide and 4.8 meters high. It is rated to carry 300 passengers. The hollow part can pass cars with a height of less than 2 meters. The carriage is equipped with 55 seats and 20 vertical handrails. The car is equipped with multiple LCD TVs for passengers to watch. In addition, it is also equipped with 4 dynamic maps to facilitate passengers to grasp the traffic conditions of the entire city in real time.
