This flying object is not the alien flying saucer UFO you imagined. It is an 8-rotor manned drone designed by the Italian Jet Capsule company, named I.F.O. The name alone is... Quite sci-fi.
I.F.O is driven by 8 rotary engines, with a maximum speed of 190 km/h. It can fly to the average height of ordinary helicopters, has a flight life of about one hour, and can carry Two adults. Each rotary engine is powered by an independent rechargeable battery, and the manned module is equipped with a backup battery. The whole machine is 3 meters high, the manned cabin is 2 meters wide, and the outer shell is equipped with 8 engine protection cabins. In the event of an emergency, the outer disk can be separated from the cockpit, and the cockpit is equipped with a parachute to ensure that people in the cockpit land smoothly.
Under normal circumstances, when the I.F.O lands, it will deploy 6 built-in lifting frames to support and stabilize it on the ground. The manned cabin also has a lifting function for easy access. Designer ierpaolo Lazzarini said that he is currently preparing to introduce investment and realize commercial application of I.F.O in the future.
