Flying cars don’t just exist in movies, they have now become a reality. A start-up company invested by the founder of Google has designed a flying car called Kitty Hawk Flyer that can fly into the sky. It is not a creative concept product, but a real flying car that will be put on sale by the end of the year.
Looking at the appearance alone, KittyHawkFlyer is not like an ordinary car, but more like an airship gliding on the water. KittyHawkFlyer is a multi-bearing electric aircraft driven by 8 rotary wings. The overall weight is 220 pounds and the top speed is 40 kilometers per hour. There is a test flight video on the official website. From the video, it can be seen that the KittyHawkFlyer relies on the propeller at the bottom to fly up from the water and takes off vertically without running for support.
According to local aviation regulations, KittyHawkFlyer is not controlled and can fly without a pilots license. The company did not provide further details on the aircraft, nor did it set a price. Currently only a three-year membership service of US$100 is provided, which includes priority purchase rights, company visits and test flights. Members enjoy a discount of US$2,000 at the time of launch.
