The Japanese company Cocoa Motors has designed a very interesting electric scooter called "WalkCar". It is about the same size as a laptop and can be easily stuffed into a backpack with two feet on it. Just right. The pedals are made of aluminum alloy. The indoor version weighs 4 pounds, while the outdoor version weighs 6 pounds. The control is also very simple. The WalkCar does not have any switch buttons. As long as you step on it, it will drive automatically. You only need to change the center of gravity of your body to control the direction. When you put your feet down, it will automatically stop. Powered by a built-in lithium battery, it can travel 12 kilometers after 3 hours of charging, with a maximum speed of 10 kilometers per hour and a maximum weight of 120 kilograms.
WalkCar is currently raising funds on the foreign crowdfunding website Kickstarter. The predetermined price is 100,000 yen (approximately RMB 5,000). If the project is successful, shipments are expected to begin in the first quarter of next year.
