Disney Lab and three students from a university in Zurich, Switzerland, jointly developed a sand painting robot-BeachBot. It is 0.6 meters long, 0.4 meters high and wide, and consists of two The rear wheel is used for drive, and the front wheel is used to control the direction. The casing adopts a fully enclosed design to ensure that sand particles will not fly into the interior of the machine. The seven sand handles at the tail are used to draw patterns on the sand. The sand handles are driven by servo motors. BeachBot can draw a minimum of 5cm and a maximum of lines as wide as the volume. After the pattern is preset through the software, it will automatically be converted into BeachBots sand drawing trajectory. Finally, BeachBot will automatically draw the preset pattern on the beach that is magnified hundreds of times.
