Today I introduce Dot, a Bluetooth headset that has attracted a lot of attention on Kickstarter recently. It is claimed to be the worlds lightest and smallest Bluetooth headset for civilian use. In order to ensure durability and maximize light weight, Dot uses polycarbonate and aluminum alloy as the main material. It is about the same size as the ear hole and just fits in. Dot is available in two versions: a single mono version and a pair of two dual-channel versions; it has a physical button on the side, which can be used to answer calls after being connected to a mobile phone.
However, the smaller size means the smaller the built-in lithium battery, and the battery life is shorter than that of ordinary Bluetooth headsets. It takes half an hour to fully charge and can continue to work for about 60 minutes. To this end, the design team designed an exclusive mobile power supply for Dot, which is about 2.5 times as long as Dot. It can be charged when plugged in, and can fully charge Dot 6 times.
