It is affiliated with the U.S. Department of Energys Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The second most powerful computer in the world, it can process 16,000 trillion operations per second. Of course, this is an ideal number officially announced. The way the supercomputer works still needs to be optimized in order to successfully win the top 500 computer test competition in the world.
