Nowadays, various technology companies are rushing to launch their own smart watches, and the popularity is evident. However, they all have a common limitation, that is, they must be paired with a smartphone to make calls. LG’s new Watch Urbane LTE smart watch can be used independently by inserting a SIM card. It can make calls, send text messages and connect to the Internet without being connected to a mobile phone.
LG Watch Urbane LTE uses a 1.3-inch round P-OLED screen, 1.2GHZ Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 700mAH capacity battery; NFC, GPS and other functions are available. We don’t know yet which system it uses, but it can be used with Android phones running Android 4.4 or above via Bluetooth. Watch Urbane LTE is currently only available in South Korea, priced at $600. However, it looks more like a traditional watch and is suitable for mature people.
