The Giant Elephant, which was put on display on June 30, 2007, is currently the only one of the three projects that has been completed. The 12-meter-tall and 8-meter-wide elephant weighs 50 tons. Powered by a 450-horsepower engine, the elephant can carry up to 49 tourists along the banks of the Loire River for 45 minutes at speeds of 1 to 3 kilometers per hour.
