In order to keep the water clean in general fish tanks, it is necessary to change the water and clean the filter every once in a while. In order to solve this annoying water change process, a British designer spent three years of research and another 18 months of testing to successfully design an automatic purifying fish tank "Avo". Avo uses the concept of micro-natural ecosystem to form a simple natural ecological cycle in the fish tank, where bacteria, fish, and plants grow complementary. The uneaten feed and feces of the fish produce ammonia in the water, and the naturally occurring bacteria in the self-cleaning system convert ammonia into nitrates, which are nutrients needed for plant growth in the water.
The designer also set up three Different light colors are used to simulate different light changes throughout the day for the fish tank. Red light in the morning, white light during the day, blue light in the evening, and the lights can be turned off at night. The fish tank can automatically maintain the water temperature at 27 degrees Celsius, which is suitable for raising most tropical fish.
The heating device is designed in a specific place in the fish tank, which can form heat convection in the entire fish tank and help the plants grow.
The plants use a modular design, with 7 plant modules arranged around the filtration system, making the entire fish tank highly efficient. Circular filtering, and each plant module can be taken out separately for pruning.
