Simulated mechanical kangaroo

According to the Sydney Herald in Australia, the German company Festo (a leader in pneumatic automation technology) recently developed a simulated mechanical kangaroo. This robotic kangaroo weighs 7 kilograms, is 1 meter tall, and can jump 0.4 meters vertically and 0.8 meters horizontally. Not only does it look like a real kangaroo in terms of appearance and jumping movements, but also like a real kangaroo, it can store and recover energy after each jump to prepare for the next seven. In terms of design principles, designers comprehensively applied electric and pneumatic technologies to design this highly dynamic system. Precise control technology and rational use of jumping kinematics make the kangaroos movements smooth when taking off and landing. The lightweight internal structure design of the body enables this unique jumping method to be realized.

The coolest thing is that you can control it within a range of 50 meters through a Bluetooth signal gesture armband. This robotic kangaroo is still in the prototype stage and will not be introduced to Australia immediately.
