In view of the busy life of modern people, sometimes even without a meal, it is very important for some people to be able to replenish food calories at any time, especially those who drive and work, who often spend their free time in the car. On the road, seizing the time to eat has become a skill for many drivers.
Designer Alexis Michael used the original beverage space in the car to come up with ideas for this issue. He retained the beverage holder and added a two-layer grid configuration to hold some snacks and other food for easy access and placement.
The designer’s ideation process considered shelf configurations of different numbers, sizes, and usage patterns.
Finally, a two-layer shelf configuration with different separations is adopted, and a rotary opening and closing method is used, coupled with magnetic adsorption closure.
The arc-shaped partition that protrudes outward and is recessed in the interior prevents the snacks contained in it from being scattered when the car is moving.
Designers also try out various color configurations, which can be matched according to personal preferences or car interior configurations.
In use, the cylindrical part can be placed directly into the drink holder, and the hollow cylinder does not reduce the original place for drinks at all, and cups and bottles can still be placed.
Contains food and snacks. After use, just take out the entire device and take it back for cleaning, or put it directly into the dishwasher.
Although the designers original intention is to place small snacks to make the food replenishment space in the car more convenient, the convenient storage design should also be used to place change or small supplies, and has a wide range of applications.
